The FM Awards took place virtually on Thursday 29th of April 2021. Our MC on the day was award winning, critically acclaimed author, comedian and broadcaster Colm O’Regan. The annual event celebrates the outstanding projects, initiatives and innovations from within Irish Facilities Management. Snapfix took part this year to support everyone involved and to present two of the prestigious awards. This year was especially important given the dedication teams have shown through an ever-changing year.
First up on the list was our very own Paul McCarthy who presented the award for Cleaning Service Provider of the Year. This category celebrates all the outstanding work industrial cleaning divisions have completed and are still undertaking during the pandemic. The deserving winner was Mitie with Accent Facilities Solution in second place and ISS Cleaning at Cavan Hospital coming in third.
Our next presentation, which Snapfix also sponsored, was for the FM Professional of the Year. This award is given to the person who has demonstrated an exceptional contribution to the success of their company through their enthusiasm and effectiveness as an operative or supervisor in the past 12 months. Our Head of Sales & Marketing, David O’Reilly announced Lisa Hughes of ISS Ireland as the winner.
Congratulations also to our clients, iNua for winning the Excellence in Sustainability Award and The K Club for winning the FM Team of the Year – In-house Award.
