This is a refresh of the Snapfix layout, based on real user feedback to create a cleaner, more consistent experience. And we’ve also updated SnapTips to help you find your way around the new layout quickly.


We want to make Snapfix feel effortless, so we’ve refined the interface and improved key workflows to help your team get things done faster and more intuitively.

What’s Changed in the Snapfix Design?


The new header and footer make it easier than ever to move between the actions you take every day in the app. We’ve reorganized and refined the experience based on how teams actually work, so everything feels faster, clearer, and more intuitive.


Here’s a breakdown of the biggest design changes:
• A cleaner header and footer
• Universal header and footer across nearly all screens
• HelpHub and your profile are now in the same place
• Only essential icons remain: Snap, Fix, Chat, Plan

 

This consistency helps users feel more confident, especially if they’re new to the app.


Snap now lives in the footer because it’s core to Snapfix


The Snap feature, where you capture photos of issues, is now accessible from the footer at all times.


Why? Because the photo is central to how Snapfix works.


• Maintenance teams, cleaners, and supervisors can snap an issue and assign it in seconds
• Visual documentation speeds up resolution, communication, and accountability


Keeping Snap always within reach makes the app feel faster and more reactive. When teams can log an issue the moment they spot it, they’re solving problems faster and spending less time chasing updates.

 

Fix is the new home for Task Management


The Fix tab is now the main hub for seeing what’s going on and getting things done. This is essentially a digital to-do list where you have full visibility into what is done, what’s in progress and what needs to be done next.


You’ll find:
• Your task feed
• Our signature traffic light view

    🟢 Done

• Priority items
• A consolidated Rooms View


Whether you're in a hotel, school, or stadium, this is your operational command center, showing what needs to happen now.


That means fewer delays, faster task completion, and more time spent serving guests - not managing spreadsheets or logbooks.

 

The “+” icon does more, with less visual clutter


• The camera icon has been replaced by a flexible “+” button

• Depending on where you are in the app, it gives you quick access to the right actions. 

  • ◦ When in Fix, you can create a new task or group.
  • ◦ When in Chat, you can start a new 1:1 chat or create a group chat.
  • ◦ When in Plan, you can create new scheduled tasks.

This design change reduces clutter and keeps Snapfix feeling light and fast, even in busy environments like hotels or venues.

 

 

A Better Photo Experience


• When entering Snap mode, the footer disappears to keep the camera view clean
• To go back, simply tap the X or use your phone’s back button
• A new three-dot menu gives you access to additional options — but only when you need them

 

Smarter Room Management


We’ve combined the Rooms Tasks and Room Status screens into one unified view. 


Fewer taps. Fewer errors. And more confidence that nothing important will fall through the cracks - even during back-to-back check-ins.


That means:
• It’s easier to manage and monitor room issues in real time
• Full visibility across all rooms without switching screens or losing context
• Everything you need for a room is now in one place. This is a big time-saver for hotel teams and PMS-connected properties
• One simple, consistent way to track tasks in every part of the property

With this new layout comes an updated version of SnapTips, our in-app training and onboarding guide.


You’ll find it in the HelpHub, right beside your profile. SnapTips is a quick and easy way to:

• Learn the new layout
• Get tips on snapping tasks, managing rooms, or chatting with your team
• Help new staff get up to speed - even if they’re only working a short shift


It’s especially helpful in environments where language barriers can slow down communication. SnapTips keeps things clear, visual, and accessible to everyone.
